KIGALI, Nov 12 (Reuters) - A Rwandair plane to Uganda crashed into the VIP lounge after taking off from the international airport in Rwanda's capital Kigali on Thursday, but officials said no one had been killed. Information Minister Louise Mushikiwabo told Reuters she believed three people had been injured, while a policeman at the scene said 10 people had been taken to hospital.

"The Rwandair flight was taking off to Kampala and it ran into technical difficulties and crashed into the VIP lounge," Mushikiwabo said. "There were no fatalities."

A medical source at Kigali's King Faisal Hospital said the pilot was among the injured and was in a critical condition. Few other details were immediately available. (Reporting by Hereward Holland; Editing by Daniel Wallis)
