Road accident in Angola kills 32 people, injures 42
LUANDA, Nov 12 (Reuters) - Thirty-two people were killed after a truck carrying them to Angola's northern Uige province overturned, also injuring 42 other people, state-owned Radio Nacional de Angola said on Thursday.
The victims, mostly women and children, were returning from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where authorities have expelled over 54,000 Angolans to retaliate against the deportation of Congolese nationals from Angola.
The tit-for-tat expulsions ended last month but Radio Nacional de Angola said Angolans have continued to return from the Congo in fear of future deportations.
