FACTBOX-Military deaths in Afghanistan

July 14 (Reuters) - An Italian soldier was killed and three were wounded by a roadside bomb in the Bala Boluk district in Afghanistan's western province of Farah, the Italian army and provincial governor said.

Two U.S. Marines were killed in the southern province of Helmand, where the Marines have launched a massive operation this month, the U.S. military said.

Here are figures for foreign military deaths as a result of violence or accidents in Afghanistan since 2001:
