Ten people wounded in blast near s.Philippines airport
MANILA, May 29 (Reuters) - Ten people were wounded in a blast outside an air base in the southern Philippines on Thursday, police said.
Lurimel Detran, police chief in the city of Zamboanga, said a crude bomb placed in a pile of luggage belonging to people hoping to get on to a military transport plant had exploded.
There was no damage to the air base, he said.
