El Salvador Ida-related death toll now 91 -gov't

SAN SALVADOR, Nov 8 (Reuters) - At least 91 people are dead and another 60 are missing following deadly floods and mudslides in El Salvador triggered by the passage of Hurricane Ida, the government said on Sunday.

The storm, now a Category 2 hurricane, was poised to swing past the Mexican resort of Cancun and enter the Gulf of Mexico later on Sunday. (Reporting by Nelson Renteria; writing by Robert Campbell)
