Canadian train in quarantine after death, illness

TORONTO, May 9 (Reuters) - A woman died and 10 people were taken to hospital after a mystery illness aboard a Canadian long-distance train, CP24 news channel said on its website.

The station said the train, on a cross-Canada route between Vancouver and Toronto, was in quarantine near Timmins, a mining center in northern Ontario, and nobody except emergency personnel were allowed aboard. (Reporting by Janet Guttsman; Editing by Peter Galloway)
