Strong quake hits off Mexico's Pacific coast -USGS

WASHINGTON, Sept 23 (Reuters) - A strong earthquake struck off Mexico's Pacific coast on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, but no tsunami warning was issued and there was no immediate report of damage.

The quake, measuring 6.4, hit 113 miles (181 km) southwest of Manzanillo, Colima, at a depth of 23.9 miles (38 km), USGS said. (Reporting by World Desk, Americas; +1 202 789 8015)
