Bomb near Pakistan's Peshawar; some casualties

PESHAWAR, Pakistan, Nov 9 (Reuters) - A bomb went off near a police post on the outskirts of the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Monday causing some casualties, police said.

"It was at a police checkpoint. There are some casualties but we don't know how many," said police officer Khursheed Khan. (Additional reporting by Zeeshan Haider; Writing by Robert Birsel)
