May 3 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Afghanistan reported by 0630 GMT on Sunday.

HELMAND - Four civilians, including two children, were killed in a bomb blast in Gereshk district, Helmand province, about 590 km (365 miles) southwest of Kabul, Dawood Ahmadi, spokesman for the governor of Helmand said.

The bomb, which wounded seven others including two policemen, was attached to a motorcycle parked near the provincial government's district office, Ahmadi added.

KUNAR - Afghan and U.S.-led forces killed 19 insurgents in overnight operations on Friday in northeastern Kunar province, around 155 km (95 miles) from Kabul, the U.S. military said. (Compiled by Hamid Shalizi and Emma Graham-Harrison; Editing by Valerie Lee)
