KABUL, July 12 (Reuters) - Four soldiers from the NATO-led force were killed by roadside bombs in southern Afghanistan on Saturday, the alliance said on Sunday.

A fifth NATO soldier died on Friday from wounds received in June, the alliance said in a statement. U.S. Marines and British-led NATO forces have launched major new offensives against the Taliban in the south in the past week.
