Body of missing U.S. soldier found in Afghan river
KABUL, Nov 11 (Reuters) - The body of one of two U.S. soldiers, missing since last week, has been found by a military diving team in a river in western Afghanistan, NATO-led forces and the U.S. military said on Wednesday.
Afghan and international forces were still searching for the other missing soldier, the U.S. military said in a statement.
The disappearence of the two paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division during a resupply mission last Wednesday triggered a search by NATO and Afghan forces in Badghis province, near the border with Turkmenistan.
