Seoul shares edge down as U.S. fiscal fears discourage investors

SEOUL, Dec 27 (Reuters) - South Korean shares inched down on Thursday as uncertainty over U.S. fiscal talks discouraged large bets, with some volatility forecast as stocks go ex-dividend.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) was down 0.15 percent at 1979.31 points at 0003 GMT. (Reporting by Joyce Lee; Editing by Eric Meijer)
