Peru's central bank buys $60 million, sol reaches historic high

LIMA, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Peru's central bank bought $60 million in the local spot market on Friday and the sol currency finished bidding 0.28 percent stronger at 2.543 per dollar, its best level in more than 16 years.
