Peru's central bank sells $178 million as sol weakens

LIMA, Jan 24 (Reuters) - Peru's central bank sold $178 million in the local spot market on Friday and the sol weakened around 0.35 percent to finish bidding at 2.822 per dollar - the currency's worst finish in more than two and a half years.
