Peru's central bank offers to sell dollars to curb slipping sol

LIMA, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Peru’s central bank offered to sell dollars on Wednesday as the sol currency weakened around 0.4 percent to 2.788/2.790 per dollar on news Janet Yellen will be nominated the new head of the U.S. Federal Reserve.
