Sinopec sees profitable Q4 refining business -CFO
BEIJING, Nov 3 (Reuters) - Sinopec expects its refining business to stay profitable in the last quarter, its Chief Financial Officer Wang Xinhua told reporters on Tuesday.
Top Asian oil refiner Sinopec Corp (0386.HK) raised alarm last week when it said that it might suffer a refining loss in October after global crude marched towards $80 a barrel while China has still yet to raise domestic fuel prices.
"We believe the government will adjust fuel prices according to the fuel mechanism," Wang said. (Reporting by Jim Bai and Chen Aizhu; Editing by Jacqueline Wong) (eadie.chen@reuters.com; +8610 6627 1268; Reuters Messaging: eadie.chen.reuters.com@reuters.net))
