Australia's AGL: not ruled out bid for power assets
PERTH, Nov 2 (Reuters) - AGL Energy Ltd (AGK.AX), Australia's largest energy retailer, has not ruled out bidding on any of the energy assets to be sold by the New South Wales state government under a privatisation plan, it said on Monday.
AGL was responding to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper that said it was unlikely to bid for Energy Australia, the state's largest power retailer, because of possible competition issues. (Reporting by Fayen Wong)
