** Plans of Dutch power grid operator TenneT to buy the power grid of German peer E.ON (EONGn.DE) may speed up the formation of an integrated northern European power market as envisaged by the European Commission. [ID:nLA660877]

** The state parent of Chongqing Changan Automobile Co (000625.SZ) has agreed to take over major auto assets from aircraft maker Aviation Industry Corp of China (AVIC), heeding Beijing's calls to speed up restructuring in the fragmented auto industry. [ID:nSHA283110]

** Cossette Inc (KOS.TO), Canada's largest homegrown advertising agency, said it will sell itself to private equity firm Mill Road Capital, spurning a lower bid from Cosmos Capital and sending its shares up 33 percent. [ID:nN10304881]

** Karstadt, German retail group Arcandor's (AROG.DE) insolvent department store chain, has already attracted a number of serious offers, its administrator said as the search began for a buyer. [ID:nLA164273]
