Abbey National Treasury sells $1.5 bln notes - IFR

NEW YORK, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Abbey National Treasury Services Plc on Wednesday sold $1.5 billion in five-year notes, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.

The 3.875 percent notes were priced at 99.977 to yield 3.88 percent or 150 basis points over comparable U.S. Treasuries.

The joint book managers on the sale were Barclays and Credit Suisse. (Reporting by Caryn Trokie; Editing by Dan Grebler)
