Bank of New York Mellon sells $1.25 bln in 2 parts-IFR

NEW YORK, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Bank of New York Mellon (BK.N) on Friday sold $1.25 billion of debt in two parts, said IFR, a Thomson Reuters service.

The issue consisted of $750 million of five-year notes priced to yield 83 basis points more than comparable U.S. Treasuries and $500 million of 10-year notes yielding 112 basis points over Treasuries, according to IFR.

Barclays and Deutsche Bank are the joint lead managers of the sale.
