Indian shares up 1.4 pct on strong global cues
MUMBAI, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Indian shares rose 1.4 percent in Friday early trade, led by gains in Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) and taking cues from global markets which edged higher.
At 9:55 a.m. (0425 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 1.2 percent at 16,254.70 points, with 28 components advancing.
Energy giant Reliance Industries was up 1.4 percent at 1,966 rupees.
The 50-share NSE Index was up 1.1 percent at 4,819.80. (Reporting by Ami Shah; Editing by Malini Menon)
