Prudential launches Islamic fund management co
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 (Reuters) - British insurer Prudential (PRU.L) said on Thursday it has set up an Islamic asset management company.
The Kuala Lumpur-based company will manage assets of institutional investors, and onshore and offshore institutional mandates, Prudential said in a statement.
At September 30, Prudential managed 1.5 billion ringgit ($439.9 million) of Islamic funds in Malaysia, it said.
