MARKET SNAPSHOTS * Malaysia's benchmark stock index .KLSE rose to its highest in a week, up 0.93 percent on Wednesday, led by palm oil stocks and banks. [.KLSE] * U.S. stocks rallied but lost steam on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve said it would keep rates near zero for "an extended period" even as it expressed confidence in the conomic recovery. [.N] * Oil prices rose by 1 percent on Wednesday after government data showed an unexpected decline in U.S. crude inventories, and the U.S. Federal Reserve said it planned to keep interest rates low.
