TEL AVIV, Feb 13 (Reuters) - A global economic slowdown presents a strong growth opportunity for Nice Systems (NICE.O) rather than a threat, the chief financial officer of the digital recording systems maker said on Wednesday.

Based in Israel, Nice's (NICE.TA) products are focused on the enterprise and security markets.

"Enterprise has a lot to do with compliance and we provide a strong solution that helps with compliance and risk management," CFO Dafna Gruber told Reuters after Nice issued fourth-quarter results that slightly beat expectations.

"We estimate about 50 percent of our solutions are sold to support the issues of compliance and risk management. Especially when there is a downturn and there are difficulties in the economy, these are issues people focus on."
