Dubai Holding has 51-pct Class A stake in Och-Ziff

WASHINGTON, Jan 18 (Reuters) - Dubai Holding LLC on Friday reported that it owns a 51.4-percent stake in the Class A shares of hedge fund Och-Ziff Capital Management Group (OZM.N).

Dubai Holding, owned by the ruler of the emirate, said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it owns 38.14 million Class A shares pursuant to a purchase agreement dated Oct. 29, 2007.

It said it acquired the shares for investment purposes and does not have present plans to enact a major transaction at Och-Ziff. (Reporting by Karey Wutkowski; Editing by Tim Dobbyn)
