** India's Kingfisher Airlines Ltd (KING.BO) said it is close to securing $400 million from private equity investors, as the cash-strapped carrier tries to cut its debt and interest burden. [ID:nDEL443704]

** Nordea (NDA.ST), the Nordic region's biggest bank by value, said Swedish peer Swedbank (SWEDa.ST) was an attractive merger partner, business daily Dagens Naeringsliv reported. [ID:nL9423378]

** Independent oil and gas exploration and production company Teton Energy Corp TEC.O said it plans to sell its assets to Rise Energy Partners II LLC for $18.7 million through an auction supervised by a U.S. bankruptcy court. [ID:nBNG282827]

** Private equity firm CVC [CVC.UL] dissolved a consortium with General Electric (GE.N) that had been planning a joint bid for the transmission and distribution (T&D) business of Areva (CEPFi.PA) , a person familiar with the matter said. [ID:nL9498238]

** Enzon Pharmaceuticals Inc (ENZN.O) said it agreed to sell its specialty pharmaceutical business to Italy-based pharmaceutical company, sigma-tau Group, for $300 million in cash and said it will focus on its pipeline and technology platforms. [ID:nBNG447564]

** French fashion designer Christian Audigier said he would be prepared to invest $10 million in loss-making holiday resort group Club Med (CMIP.PA) and agreed with the group's strategy to expand in premium holiday villages.
