Russia's CTC says ready to pay 2009 dividends
MOSCOW, Nov 5 (Reuters) - Russia's broadcaster CTC Media said on Thursday it was ready to pay dividends for 2009 after redemption of a loan in June 2010.
"The dividends issue will be discussed (after the redemption) and most likely a positive decision would be made," Anton Kudryashov, CTC's CEO told reporters.
CTC, which runs independent TV and production companies in Russia and other former Soviet states, said earlier it expected advertising revenue in rouble terms to be 4-6 percent lower this year, with the downturn set to continue into 2010.
CTC's third-quarter 2009 net income of $25.9 million was 23 percent higher than in 2008. [ID:nL5100937] (Reporting by Nastya Teterevlyova, writing by Dmitry Sergeyev, editing by Gleb Bryanski)
