Cisco sees 2nd-qtr revenue up 16 pct vs year ago

NEW YORK, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Cisco Systems Inc (CSCO.O) expects its fiscal second-quarter revenue to increase by about 16 percent from the same quarter a year ago, Chief Executive John Chambers on Wednesday.

In a conference call, he also reiterated the company's full-year 2008 revenue growth forecast range of 13 percent to 16 percent and kept the company's long-term revenue growth forecast of 12 percent to 17 percent a year.
