Perini says project developer gets loan default notice

Jan 17 (Reuters) - Construction company Perini Corp PCR.N said Deutsche Bank on Wednesday delivered a notice of loan default to the developer of the Cosmopolitan Resort and Casino project under construction in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Perini's unit, Perini Building Company Inc, is the general contractor for the project, the company said in a statement.

Perini said it is unable to determine financial impact of the action at this time, pending discussions with the developer and lender, and that all current amounts due to Perini have been paid. (Reporting by Varsha Tickoo in Bangalore; Editing by Pratish Narayanan)
