J.L. French files for Chapter 11 protection

July 13 (Reuters) - U.S. auto parts manufacturer J.L. French Automotive Castings Inc filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Monday, court documents show.

In a filing with the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, the company listed both estimated assets and estimated liabilities in the range of $100 million to $500 million. (Reporting by Ajay Kamalakaran in Bangalore; Editing by Valerie Lee)
