--The health insurer said it expects second-quarter
earnings of $1.20 to $1.25 a share, on revenue of $1.3 billion.

--For the second quarter, analysts on average expected the
company to earn 83 cents a share, before items, on revenue of
$1,226.2 million, according to Reuters Estimates.

--For 2007, the company expects earnings of $4.65 to $4.75
a share, on revenue of $5.2 billion. It had previously forecast
earnings of $4.10 to $4.20 a share on revenue of $4.95 billion.

--For the year, analysts expected earnings of $4.20 a
share, before items, on revenue of $4,959.3 million.

--Shares of the company rose over 8 percent to $89.75 in
late electronic trading after closing at $82.82 on the New York
Stock Exchange.
