* Selling stakeholder to offer 2.7 mln shares

* Total offering at 8.2 mln shares

July 13 (Reuters) - Polish vodka-maker Central European Distribution Corp (CEDC.O) said it began an underwritten public offering of 8.2 million shares, including 2.7 million shares put up by a selling stockholder.

The company said it would offer 5.5 million shares of its common stock, with an over-allotment option of 820,000 shares.

It had about 49.2 million shares outstanding as of June 30, according to a regulatory filing.

Shares of the company closed at $24.31 Friday on Nasdaq. (Reporting by Viraj Nair; Editing by Anne Pallivathuckal)
