Swire Pacific says considers spinoff Swire Properties

HONG KONG, Nov 2 (Reuters) - Conglomerate Swire Pacific (0019.HK) (0087.HK) said on Monday that it is considering a separate main-board listing for subsidiary Swire Properties Ltd.

The company said no application for the listing had yet been made and no formal proposal had been put to the Stock Exchange.

No decision has been made regarding the timing of the listing and shareholders' approval would be sought, the company said.

Swire said it would make a further statement but gave no details.
