Teva Pharmaceutical says to hit EPS of $2.30 in '07
TEL AVIV, Aug 1 (Reuters) - Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TEVA.O) (TEVA.TA) said on Wednesday it expects to hit the upper end of its full-year 2007 earnings per share estimate range of $2.20 to $2.30.
Israel-based Teva, the world's largest generic drugmaker, in May raised its EPS estimate for 2007 to $2.20 to $2.30 from $2.07 to $2.19.
"We are confident and optimistic that we will reach the high end of this range. We will touch $2.30," Shlomo Yanai, Teva's president and chief executive officer, told a news conference to announce second-quarter financial results.
