T.Italia Media says CEO steps down
MILAN, April 18 (Reuters) - Telecom Italia Media (TCM.MI), a unit of Telecom Italia (TLIT.MI), said on Friday Antonio Campo Dall'Orto had stepped down as chief executive.
He will stay on the board of directors and remain chief executive of TV channel MTV Italia and chairman of advertising subsidiary MTV Pubblicita, Telecom Italia Media said in a statement.
Dall'Orto was named CEO in February 2007.
"Campo Dall'Orto expressed the wish to dedicate himself fully to the development of MTV Italia's activities, which he launched and has always led, in the challenging context of the digital revolution taking place in the media," the company said.
Last week, Telecom Italia Media said its board had named Giovanni Stella as executive deputy chairman and that Dall'Orto would report to him.
