Ukraine refuses Russia gas price proposal
KIEV, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Ukraine cannot agree to buy Russian gas for $450 per 1,000 cubic metres, the chief of state-run energy company, Naftogaz, said on Wednesday.
"I don't think that Ukraine can accept a price of $450 -- it is completely economically unfounded," Naftogaz Chief Oleh Dubyna told reporters. He said he would go to Moscow on Thursday to hold talks with Gazprom (GAZP.MM) CEO Alexei Miller.
Dubyna also said Ukraine may limit supplies to domestic industrial customers: "We could take a decision to limit supplies to industrial consumers, but only partly." (Reporting by Pavel Polityuk, writing by Guy Faulconbridge in Kiev; Editing by XXXX)
