German stimulus package total 50 billion euros -CDU

BERLIN, Jan 12 (Reuters) - A new economic stimulus programme agreed by Germany's coalition parties on Monday will total 50 billion euros, a senior conservative political leader said.

Volker Kauder, parliamentary leader of Merkel's conservatives, told reporters the package included investment measures as well as tax relief measures.
