Moody's affirms positive outlook on Russia
MOSCOW, Sept 30 (Reuters) - Moody's ratings agency affirmed its positive outlook on Russia on Tuesday, saying the country's fundamentals remained strong, reserves were large and government policy was favourable.
"The picture going forward is mixed. But at the moment we still have a positive outlook," Jonathan Schiffer, lead analyst for Russia at Moody's Investor Services told a briefing.
"First of all (due to) very, very solid position it is in at the moment and the reserves, their war chest. Secondly, it is a success not only because of oil but because of effective policies." (Reporting by Toni Vorobyova; writing by Melissa Akin, editing by Tanya Mosolova)
