MADRID, July 10 (Reuters) - Spain's Zeltia (ZEL.MC) said on Friday its Yondelis drug had been approved for the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer in The Philippines.

It marked the first approval of its kind for the company in the treatment of this disease, Zeltia said.

Yondelis, made by Zeltia's Pharma Mar unit, was also given the green light for the treatment of advanced soft tissue sarcoma in adults, it said. (Reporting by Elisabeth O'Leary; Editing by Andrew Hay)
