NEW YORK Sept 4 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said on Thursday it had one large one-day net misses in its reserve projections in the week ended Sept. 3.

The miss occured on Tuesday, Sept. 2, when Treasury balances were lower than expected, and float and other Federal Reserve liabilities were higher than expected, resulting in an increase in reserves.

Transportation float averaged about $5 million per day, with the highest on Thursday, Aug. 28 at about $25 million, due to transportation delays.
