Macerich chmn steps down, CEO adds chairman title
NEW YORK, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Macerich Co (MAC.N), an owner and operator of U.S. malls, on Friday named Chief Executive Arthur Coppola as chairman, succeeding founder Mace Siegel, who retired this week.
Siegel was named founder and chairman emeritus and will continue as a director.
Edward Coppola, senior executive vice president and chief investment officer, was named to succeed Arthur Coppola as president. (Reporting by Ilaina Jonas; editing by Jeffrey Benkoe)
