NYSE says to have regular open, glitches resolved
NEW YORK, July 6 (Reuters) - The New York Stock Exchange on Monday said network issues that affected trading on Thursday were resolved at the weekend and it will have a regular opening.
"All services are functioning normally and all regular opening procedures will be followed for the start of business today, Monday, July 6, 2009," the NYSE said in a brief systems status alert.
The exchange scheduled regular opening is 9:30 a.m. (1330 GMT)
In Thursday's session the NYSE was prompted to extend trading past its regular closing time of 4 p.m. (2000 GMT) to 4:15 p.m. due to connectivity glitches.
Floor brokers were hit by a systems issue that affected orders originating from the trading floor, according to exchange spokesmen. (Reporting by Ellis Mnyandu; Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
