UPDATE 1-Columbia Sportswear promotes Cusick to CFO
LOS ANGELES, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Outerwear maker Columbia Sportswear Co (COLM.O) (COLM.O) said on Tuesday it will promote Chief Accounting Officer Thomas Cusick to the position of chief financial officer, effective Jan. 23.
Cusick, 41, has served in senior financial management roles since joining Columbia Sportswear as corporate controller in September 2002. He was named chief accounting officer in May 2008.
Cusick will fill the vacancy created when Bryan Timm was promoted to chief operating officer in May 2008. Timm was named executive vice president in October 2008. (Reporting by Lisa Baertlein; editing by Richard Chang)
