Tier Technologies names Johnston interim CFO

NEW YORK, April 7 (Reuters) - Tier Technologies Inc (TIER.O: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz) said on Monday it had appointed Ronald Johnston as its interim chief financial officer for an initial period of three months, as the company completes its search for a permanent CFO.

The company said in a regulatory filing that Johnston, 61, has served as chief financial officer for a number of companies, most recently as a CFO partner for professional services firm Tatum LLC.
