Chevron shutting Richmond units for work -sources

HOUSTON, July 9 (Reuters) - Chevron Corp (CVX.N) was shutting a reformer and a diesel hydrotreater at its 245,271 barrel per day (bpd) Richmond, California, refinery for planned work, sources familiar with refinery operations said on Thursday.

The work is planned to last two weeks, the sources said.

A Chevron spokesman declined to discuss operations at the San Francisco Bay-area refinery. (Reporting by Erwin Seba; Editing by Gary Hill)
