Marathon Detroit refinery maintenance completed

NEW YORK, May 9 (Reuters) - Marathon Oil Corp (MRO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) has completed planned maintenance work at its 100,000 barrel per day refinery in Detroit, Michigan, Marathon spokesman Robert Calmus said Friday.

"The maintenance has been completed," Calmus said, but was unable to provide details on what units were affected or the duration of the turnaround.

Marathon had told Reuters in mid-March that maintenance work was under way, but was unable to provide any details at the time. (Reporting by Rebekah Kebede; Editing by John Picinich)
