* Monster moving media buying account to Omnicom's OMD

* Monster expected to spend $200 mln in '09 on marketing

* Monster shares down 2.8 percent

NEW YORK, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Monster Worldwide Inc (MWW.N), which runs the Monster.com jobs website, said on Monday it had shifted its advertising planning and buying duties to Omnicom Group Inc's (OMC.N) OMD agency.

Monster, likely to spend about $200 million this year on marketing, moved the account from WPP Plc's (WPP.L) MEC, which had held the duties world since 2006.

Earlier this year, Monster returned to advertising in the Super Bowl, where 30-second spots went for as much as $3 million, for the first time since 2004. (Reporting by Paul Thomasch; editing by Andre Grenon)
