MEXICO CITY, July 10 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks dropped on Friday as a drop in U.S. consumer confidence in July added to worries that weak U.S. corporate earnings would sap confidence in the strength of the economic recovery in the United States.

The IPC stock index .MXX fell 1.26 percent to 23,337. (Reporting by Michael O'Boyle, Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
