Chevron says no malfunction in Richmond refinery HCU

HOUSTON, July 10 (Reuters) - Chevron Corp (CVX.N) said there was no malfunction on Friday afternoon in a hydrocracking unit at its 245,271-barrel-per-day (bpd) Richmond, California, refinery.

"There is no change in day-to-day operations at the refinery," said Chevron spokesman Brent Tippen. "There is no malfunction in the hydrocracker." (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
