HOUSTON, July 10 (Reuters) - Valero Energy Corp (VLO.N) cut feed to a gasoline-producing fluidic catatlyic cracking unit at its 287,000-barrel-per-day (bpd) Port Arthur, Texas, refinery following a Friday morning malfunction, according to a notice filed with Texas pollution regulators.

A standpipe in the FCCU lost steam pressure, according to the notice filed with the notice filed with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The refinery cut the feed to the unit and was able to restore the proper steam pressure. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
